Nigel has a track record of developing growth-stage companies across multiple sectors, with focus on emerging markets, including mainland China. Served on the boards of thirty five companies. Proven record in M&A, corporate finance and turnarounds. Led the sale of five groups. Sector expertise in global commodities trade and finance, financial services & advisory. Designed, created and implemented the partnership structure with CCBI Metdist.
Technology Lead
Nicolay Astashov
Nicolay has two decades of experience in the technology sector. He has been with Metdist since 2012 and is the lead architect of the Group's global technology strategy. His role encompasses strategic planning, installation and management of data, process, and innovation. Having been interested in the power of technology from the age of eight (when he reassembled a motorbike), Nicolay is passionate about creating sustainable outcomes and competitive advantage. He is involved in the review of all technology-related projects within the Group. Nicolay has sector expertise in blockchain, crypto currencies, artificial intelligence, and robotics. He also holds an MSc in Blockchain and Digital Currency.

Iryna Shemyakina
Iryna heads legal and finance for the Group in the Middle East. A lawyer and a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales with over fifteen years of experience across various industries and geographies, including five years in audit and tax advisory with PwC. Sector expertise in hospitality, digital, property management and real estate, business services.
